A petrochemical recycling company is currently looking for exceptional candidates for the position of Plant Manager for a new hi-tech recycling plant in Poland. The Plant Manager position is a leadership role, providing supervision of operations for the plant and will be responsible for ensuring sustained operation, at minimal cost, in a safe work environment.

A minimum of 10 years business experience in the petrochemical or chemical sectors, including at least 5 years as the manager of an industrial plant.
Excellent managerial and logistical planning skills, including experience of managing 24-hour operations.
Experience of managing plant maintenance plans and schedules.
Fluency in Polish and an advanced level of written and spoken English.
An educational background in engineering to university level.

Be willing to work oversees for a period of 6 months for training.
Be willing to relocate within Poland to live close to the plant.
Be proactive, determined and focussed on results.
Demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of how to solve common problems faced by an industrial plant within the Polish system of regulations and bureaucracy.
Have a proven ability to function with minimal supervision while also leading others toward project goals.

Recruiting and managing a team to run the plant.
Coordinating and implementing employee training.
Planning, organising and controlling the plant’s operations in the most effective way. This involves scheduling recycling processes, taking into consideration such things as amount of incoming materials, materials in storage, processing time, staff resources available, logistical constraints, etc.
, Working with the Chief Operating Officer to implement the progressive expansion of the plant’s capabilities. , Developing and implementing plans to increase efficiency through better utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities and materials. , Managing the plant maintenance program with an emphasis on preventive/predictive maintenance. , Ensuring the plant and its employees comply with all applicable Polish and EU regulations, without interrupting plant operation. ,
